After your morning meal, you can start your trek for the day. The trail will lead you downhill, and you'll walk for about 3 hours until you reach Syabrubesi. When you get there in the afternoon, you can have your lunch.

After lunch, you have the rest of the day to do as you please. It's a good time to explore the area, take a leisurely walk around Syabrubesi, and maybe meet some local people who are friendly.

As the day comes to a close, you'll spend the night in Syabrubesi. It's a great opportunity to relax, think about your trek, and get ready for the adventures that lie ahead.

Day 8 : Drive from Syabrubensi to Kathmandu

Drive back from Syabrubensi to Kathmandu by bus with our guide. It takes a six to seven-hour drive. Our manager will come to meet you at the hotel, then take you for the farewell dinner at a nice restaurant. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Cost: As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the Langtang National Park entry permit for foreigners costs 3,000 Nepalese Rupees (around USD 25) per person.

  • This permit allows you to enter and trek within the Langtang National Park, where the Tamang Heritage Trail is located.

TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) Card:

  • Cost: The TIMS card fee depends on the category. As of my last update, it was 2,000 Nepalese Rupees (around USD 17) per person for individual trekkers and 1,000 Nepalese Rupees (around USD 8) per person for those in organized groups.

  • The TIMS card is essential for trekking in Nepal and helps keep track of trekkers for safety and management purposes.
